Who we are: St. John’s Community Outreach Committee was established in 2016. The Committee, chaired by Chris Golembiewski and Debbie Swain, consists of members of our congregation.
What we do: Our mission is to seek out and become knowledgeable about charitable organizations and agencies in Detroit and surrounding communities. During the year our members visit various agencies to learn more about their mission and goals.
Why we do it: We provide funding to a number of agencies every year to help them deliver support and services to people in the communities they support. St. John's is proud to play a role in serving many non-profit organizations that make an enormous impact every day in the lives of our neighbors.
